Stock rubber differential mount bushings on the E8X and E9X platform are prone to deformation under load, introducing vague rear axle feedback, unstable handling during throttle transitions, and inconsistent power delivery. While polyurethane and solid bushing alternatives address the deformation issue, they typically come with complicated installation procedures and a significant increase in NVH. This billet aluminum differential mount insert kit offers an innovative alternative — precision-engineered inserts that fill the factory bracket gap exactly, suppressing differential displacement and restoring linear throttle response without the installation complexity or NVH penalties of conventional bushing upgrades.
Features:
- Precision reinforcement design fills the factory differential bracket gap exactly – suppresses differential displacement for more stable and predictable rear axle behaviour
- CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum for high dimensional accuracy, strength, and a perfect fit within the factory mounting location
- Hard-anodized surface finish for full rust and corrosion resistance in underbody conditions
- Optimises shift smoothness and maintains linear throttle response by eliminating unwanted differential movement under load
- Low NVH impact – addresses the core handling shortfall of worn rubber bushings without the harshness associated with solid or polyurethane alternatives
